Dynamic Braking Question
Could someone using one of the new dynamic braking controllers enlighten me. With my standard ESC I normally set my throttle trim to give and idle prop rather than prop stopped situation. Is this still possible with a dynamic braking ESC?
In otherwords can the ESC sense and maintain a prop idle speed when the motor is being driven by the prop or is the braking a linear function of throttle stick position that is above a certain stick position the motor is driven, below that position it is stopped and gives braking proportional to how far back the stick is moved? Thanks Malcolm |

Thanks Malcolm In Schulzes case that you have it correct :) The only way to get an idle on the ground is to bring up the stick until the motor starts to run, as there is no air to force the prop to spin in break mode, any amount of applied break will stop the prop on the ground. |
RE: Dynamic Braking Question
Thanks Chad,
Looks like I will need to get used to a different way of working with my new Shulze/Plett setup! Malcolm |
