Andersons, I also believe a 4100 6S battery won't have good flight time/performance, might be good enough for 401 as long as it's not too windy & you are careful with your throttle management. I've owed a Wind 110 for 4 years & run it on 8S 4900/5000mA batteries - 7min flight time - Hacker A50-16L on 18x12 - used to run 18x10 but 18x12 is better. IMO the Wind 110 flies much better at 2200W vs 1900/200W. I've seen a Wind flown on 6S & was not too impressed (1700-1800W), OK for sport flying though. This is just my opinion, I wish you the best of luck with yours. Let us know how you get on.

Whoa, sweet!! There are not enough 1.10 size pattern options. I am glad to hear these planes are still available. I am a little partial to the red one, too ;)

Did the maiden plus a few more flights yesterday , it few GREAT!

I had it a little nose heavy but moved the battery back a little bit each flight and started feeling better.

I set the timer for 6 mins and after landing I was sitting at 16% on the 6s 4100 so gonna bump it up to 4800 pack. Also the 18x10 was a little more prop than it needs, gonna drop it to a 16x10 and see how she does. Probably gonna find it being on the small side but have 6 new ones balanced on the shelf , I'm going to order a 17x10 and get it a whirl.

Its a wonderful flying airplane I give it a 10 out of 10 !

On a hacker A 50 16L I found the 18x10 to be perfect. I never got to the point of trying Hezik's cut down 19 x10, as I felt the downline braking was fine as is.


I just did a bit of quick and dirty math, and your RPM on the 12L will be similar to an A50 16L on 6s. You might find that adding larger capacity packs you'll want that extra pulling power.

Incidentally, I tried 6s on my mythos, and I didn't like it, the amp haul from 6s is pretty heavy, and I found it didn't take much to overdraw my packs on a windy day. I upgraded the motor to an 8s setup, and now I have power and longevity, and my 6s packs are used occasionally on my 90's pattern planes to mimic a hot 60:)

OK so all the trim flights are now complete. I stayed with the 18x10 I adjusted the ESC and its making great power and more efficient. I flew the sportsman maneuvers 4 times Sunday and got almost to the second the same flight time 4:48 which is well within my 6:00 timer. She's flying great with Pulse 6s 4100 45C packs full flight of 6:00 leaves the packs at 23% with nothing hot.
