Just curious as to how you made the BEC taps and what plugs you used. Here's what mine looks like.

My system is quite similar to yours, but I am using slightly different components. On the CC website/instructions they show a Deans type connector. With Deans you can solder the wires from the BEC directly onto the connector between the batteries and the ESC. (On the ESC connector.)
I am using shielded bullet connectors to match the Hobby City batteries, and it is not possible to connect two wires there, so I soldered the BEC wires directly onto the ESC wires. (Similar to what you did, but I put a heat shrink tubing outside all cables. Each cable is of course insulated with their own heat shrink first.) I am using Deans connectors on the BEC to make it removable. I am also using a Deans connector on the external shunt.
