Default Motor, battery, and esc - recommendation

Please help. I have a .40 size F1 Airplane sitting in my hangar. I think that it is called an Estralida (.sp). It has a .40 OS VR engine curently installed. I have never flown it for a number of reasons. 1) no throttle; 2) no muffler. Now that electric motors have come along, can anyone recommend an inexpensive setup that will make this thing go as fast as it can go? I have been reading some threads and they mention a 1200 kV motor, but like I said I want this thing to just scream !!!! Any help would be appreciated
