Default LiPo Batt.

I had a rough landing and one of my EXPENSIVELiPos has a slight swelling. Just on one side. Is it OK, or is it junk?

Knowing what brand and configuration of the battery would help. e.g. Turnegy 6S/4000/35C

Also for powering what heli would also be worth knowing.

It's the T-rex 700E, w/ two Align 22.2V 6S 40C batteries. One has the slight swell. Don't know if it has internal damage or if it just bent from side impact.

This is just my opinion, but on a heli as large, expensive and potentially dangerous as a 700 can be...I wouldnt chance a suspect battery.

I know batteries arent cheap...so the choice is up to you.  But, a bad crash from loss of power could end up costing you way more than replacing the battery.

Again, just my opinion.

its a possibility that the one cell in that lipo is just junk, also check helifreaks and see what the good setups are im sure theres a few out there that wont swell em, im still messin with my t500's i know the 1400 hyperion with 16t isnt very good as the batts and motor are piping hot, so check the fav setups the guys are using and try to go that way.

I ran a ballance charge on each battery today, and they seem fine. No heat or anything. I think they are fine. Thanks for the input!
