Default Sport and scale fuselages

These are the first production pics of "The Gnome This shell fits 120 SR sized helis. It should also fit helis that are a little bit larger with some creative trimming. In a couple of pics you can see the smaller untrimmed version that fits MSR sizes. I'll be finishing this and it will be trimmed the same as the larger version. (pics to follow within the next day or two) They can be ordered clear or painted in your choice of one primary color. My son is designing the Gnome decal which will be included with each order.
I'm getting my scale fuses'ready for production and will offer these soon. I expect to have my website up and running by early Nov. but am ready to start accepting orders now. Thanks, Bill

Default RE: Sport and scale fuselages

Sorry for the double posting, but I wanted to explain further of what's coming. My favorite size heli is the nano and micro and after debating with myself for quite a while,I've decided to go into this business full time.My profession for the last 25+ years has been in the collectable/gift industry as a designer/sculptor/ manufacturer.Fantasy/Science-Fiction are my main subjects.I still am in this area, but heli's are my therapy so I am "treating" myself with a new venture! This first offering,The Gnome" is just because I like the sleek sport styles for fast cruising, but my passion are the scale fuses.I am in the final stages of completing the forms for: Blue Thunder,Hughes,Apache,Cobra, and getting requests for many others.(these are for MSR size heli mechanics) I am concentrating on the smaller versions (nano up to about 250 sizes) mainly for the fact that they can be flown anywhere and of course lower cost. Anyway, forgive my ramble and Happy flying! Thanks,Bill

Even though I am new to this hobby, I can tell when something is kewl and man..does this fit the description!!
Very nice work to you (and son). Can't wait to see some of the other colors and decals you'll be offering and also the scale fuses.
Is there some place one could go to view all the options and prices? A website, perhaps?

Right now the website is under construction and should be up and running by the first week in Nov. If you want to order now I can email you with the prices As far as color goes, you can pick any color you like, unless you order unpainted to do yourself as some prefer to do. This fuselage fits Blade 120SR and similar size heli's. A smaller version of 'The Gnome" is now available and fits Blade MSR and similar size helis'. My scale fuses for these micro's will be ready for sale within the next week.I will be offering many different styles to choose from, and keep adding as I go. Thanks,Bill

I have completed the Micro Blue Thunder body kit. The first kits were formed in .010 styrene, nice and light. This fuse kit will fit MSR to MCPX heli sizes. As we're now preparing for Hurricane Sandy,I'll post pics of the kit sometime today or tomorrow, and will have ordering-site available to receive orders.

Almost have the site finished. Will be up and ready by Thursday/Friday the latest. Putting a site together is a real P.I. the A.!! Of coarse the hurricane didn't help our timing either, lost power for a day but we were a lot luckier than most. Thanks, Bill

I don't have experience setting up a website either but know friends that have and you are right.....most of them said it was a big P.I.T.A.!!
Very sorry to hear about the devastation to the coastline states as well as any other areas hit by Sandy. I guess I could take a day or two without power compared to what some are dealing with...flooding, loss of homes/belongings, the general disruption of everyday life and, of course, the unfortunate loss of life that occured.
Your life, family and well being are more important than a website and heli fuses...take your time as it'll be done when it gets done.

God Bless and be safe!

Very kewl Bill.. I checked out the site and job well done.
Can't wait to see more projects as they develop.
I will probably wait a lil bit to see what else you will be producing but the Gnome has my interest for now.
When/if you get some of the other colors on display, I think I may get more than one...lol
Keep up the good work and also will be waiting to see the *Dragon Fly* concept.
