I was just wondering what the best micro heli is to learn to fly on. Cupid, Hornet, Piccolo, Humingbird, etc. Any help is apreciated.

i think the piccolo is the cheapest to get started. the hummingbird is better quality. but now i wish i bought the hornet just for it's direct drive tail.

Thanks everyone. Could anyone tell me if the Hummingbird has any problems and also the best place to get one?

Once helihobby gets better (month or so), buy a lithium package from them...

My friend got it and it is priced EXCELLENTLY at 370

If you upgrade lithium, it will end up costing 400 plus dollars

I know everyone's been saying hummingbird, but I chose the dragonfly...its alias :-)

I got it at www.tedani.com
They're at hong kong, but they are reliable and fast in thier emails and shipping. I got mine in 5 days to MN, USA, and they said it may take 7-10 days.

The dragonfly/hummingbird is cheap.

I got my RTF deal for 250 bucks shipping already included.

There is a RTF packaged deal for 230(shipping included) for GWS Tx, GWS 6ch Rx, nano servos, gws pg-03 gyro, mixer/esc, 2x 750ma batt, and a cheap charger(which works).

It's already wired, but DOUBLE check it anyway! :-)
And you'll have to do the routine, rotor balance and tracking.

What ever you go with, good luck.
You'll have fun with them.

BTW, the tedani guys do write good english! if that helps :-)

and I know people who have sold theirs because of that reason! for a beginner a hornet is probably a little too much. more to break and set up correctly.
