Default Controller Saga

Hi all

My first post ever in the history of posting

Heres my problem ->

I own a raptor 30 in mode 2 and have a JR XP652 controller for it, I recently bought an smartech aerohawk which is in mode 1 and want to use my JR controller on my aerohawk...

The frequency the aerohawk came in was 40MHz unlike my raptor on 35MHz...

When i powered up the aerohawk up to debug (after disconnecting the main motor to prevent amputation of my arm ) all that happens is that the servos jitter for a moment then travel to full positive and continue to jitter at their extreme travel position...

I have put the crystal from one controller to the other but it is making no difference...

My XP652 is set to PPM and i have also tried spcm and zpcm... expecting it not to make a difference, suprise IT DIDN'T...[>:]

Can anybody help me, its probably something really simple but im lost???

Any ideas???

Cheers

i live in the u.k aswell it is illegal touse any other than 35 mhz for air type vehicles what you chould do is change the reciver to a 35mhz dump the old one or sell it or go to the person who sold it to you and get them to send you a 35mhz that should do the trick. tell us how you get on thank you.
