Walkera ESC low cutoff???

Walkera ESC low cutoff???
Has anyone with the Walkera speed controller had problems with the low cut off, cutting off at too low a voltage?
I have buffed a pack with an Esoon ESC by taking the cell voltage to low. When I charged that pack i had a Lipo fire
I'm planning on using one of the Walkera 30 amp ESC but I am gun shy now. I am worried It will not cut out my 3S pack at 9 volts.
Let me know if anyone is having problems with this ESC.
