RE: Will battery run Brushless?
as long as the motor/ESC can handle 7.2V it'll be fine
what model is it going into?
[edit] i didnt read your post properly.
the motor setup will probably be fine, i dont know the details of your ESC and motor so i cant tell you
not sure if the heli will be able to lift the weight of the pack though

RE: Will battery run Brushless?
Ya, the lift off problem could be a issue. I am still in the middle of converting it from the gas version to electric and want to save some money on batteries. I am not sure what engine i want yet
The instructions for the Corona state
Electro-Fusion 7 motor and seven-cell 2400 mAh NiCad battery pack (preferred),
or Electro-Fusion 6 motor and six-cell 2400 mAh NiCad battery.
The electro fusion is some kind of cheap brushed motor. The heli is supposed to have a big battery apperently.
I am also putting my Corona on a diet and am getting all carbon fiber parts.
