Default Check your balls

On the aluminum swashplate for the Blade CP that is. I just had one on a servo link come out. It looks like it has been loose for awhile. I can just push it into the hole without resistance. The hole is stripped out. Another appears cross threaded. I found this out on take off this evening and the helicopter shot to the left. Luckily no other damage (especially my CF mains). I have removed the rest and put locktite on them but am not sure how to repair the stripped ones. Other ball-links I've seen online have very short studs and I don't think they would be long enough to get a nut on the inside. Also they are rather expensive being almost half the cost of a new swashplate. I think I'll probably try a little JB Weld but am probably stuck buying another aluminum swashplate.

JB Weld is great stuff! I've only had one failure with JB and that's because the parts were not cleaned properly before using the JB.As long as you mix it right and let it cure long enough JB should do the job!
