LiPo on CX2
I just got a E-Flite CX2, and the LiPo that comes with it last quite a while but take two hours to charge. I have four Kokam 7.4v 1500mah kicking around and was wondering can I use them on the CX2?

RE: LiPo on CX2
probably would be a bit heavy I think. You might get away with about 1300mAh on that heli, but that heli is very sensative to weight. You could try the 1500 and see if you can get off the ground with it. You'll probably be adding alot more heat to the motors, so make sure you get a heatsink, and maybe some air vents would be good too. In the end it will probably be hard on your motors and make them last less, but it could be just a little less, or quite a bit less, mainly based on the running temp of the motors with that heavy battery.
You can decrase the charge time on the batteries by getting something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ESKY-BALANCE-CHA...QQcmdZViewItem
the fastest you can charge is 1 hour, and that charger should get it to right around 1 hour
also I would look at more batteries like this one to decrease the waiting time

or this one
http://www.commonsenserc.com/product...products_id=42
both of those are also available cheaper in a 2 pack
