Possesed HoneyBee
The other day I went out to fly my HoneyBee FP in my front yard. I set it down on the driveway, turned on
the transmitter (making sure the throttle and throttle trim were turned all the way down first), I plugged in
the battery, let it calibrate, and just as I was about to start flying (and without touching any controls)
it took off full throttle and went careening into the rose bush, breaking the flybar, rotor head
and links. #*&!%*! I had absolutly no control over it!
Is this some kind of transmitter or 4 in 1 malfunction? or could it be caused by some kind of interference?

this happened to me too and the bird flopped on the ground like a wounded duck, my TX batteries were in the last yellow before the red, were your batteries low?

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like you were in 3D mode. Make sure your controller is set to normal flight, otherwise the lovely 3D mode pins the throttle full and zooms the copter out of control. Usually the instant torque wins, and the thing just falls over to the side... rather unhappily I might add...

PAULROTO
the HBFP is not a 3d capable heli, it's a Fixed pitch.
Did the antenna touch any other metal at all before the heli went nuts?

Mystery solved! The garage door was open and I stepped just inside to get out of
the sun. The antenna must have touched the metal on the bottom of the door. I tried
to recreate it, (after placing a crowbar across the skids to keep it from going anywhere).
When the antenna touched the bottom of the door it went nuts.
Thanks for the tip blade killer!
