How high?

This may be a dumb question but how high do you fly your electric heli? I am comeing from gas airplanes so I don't want to fly too high and something go wronge and have a really expencive piece of plastic.

My stock hb can only go about 10 ft in the air

RE: How high?

My brushless Hummer will go as High as I can see it but I usually stay below 50FT to stay in control. The higher you get the harder it is to control because when you want to come back to down on a Fixed Pitch heli the Headspeed decreases therefore the control respone and stability goes DOWN which makes it harder.

RE: How high?

The Astro 010 10turn w/9T pinion and Castle Creations Phoenix 10 is what I am using and works great on a 7.4v lipoly. I REALLY LIKE THIS SETUP AND HIGHLY RECOMEND

[link=http://www.b-p-p.com]Bishop Power Products[/link] sells this combo for a good price.

If you can't go brushless then the Acro 280 6v is an OK choice but I found it too be underpowered and gave less run time and made my 1200 etec work really hard...........

BTW, I am running the stock tail and MS CF main blades
