tail-in practice is straight ?

Hi,

Im practicing in doing tail-in with my heli on the ground.

however when he moves on the ground (when im increasing the speed) it moves 45 degrees forward and left.

I can follow him and control him however I was wonder if its supposed to be like that(and when its up in the air I can control to stop him?) or it means I have something i need to tune more ? if yes what can it be ?

I found it usefull to start the heli when the thurtoll is abit open , this makes the tail start spinning with the big rotor and I overcome problems of tail spinning around heli (with abit trimming).

thanks

What heli are you using? If its a micro, then i wouldnt be too concerned--micros tend to do that. Try and get it steady the best you can with the trims. Once you get it a couple feet off the ground, you will be out of the "ground effect" and should get a more stable flight. You will just have to compensate with the cyclic stick in order to keep it from going forward and left.
