Could this be the problem?

Well, today I was flying my stock Walkera DragonFly 4 and it was rattling so bad, one of the rotor blades snapped off (I think that's why). So, I super glued the rotor to where it was snapped and hopefully this would stay. When I took apart the top I noticed that a metal piece was horribly bent as if someone grabbed each ends of it and twisted it in opposite ways (it was bent when I took it out of the box). I have tooken a picture of the part that was bent (I have already straighten it). Would this be the cause of my helicopter failing to talk off above 5 feet and the rattling problem?

The piece that was very very bent

RE: Could this be the problem?

They are just thin metal, so they bend. The piece is in tension when flying, so doesn't matter that it bends. I have flown mine without it once anyway.

It is not critical to the Heli's flight. But it is better to have it there - :)

Alright thanks. Hey do you have any kind messenger such as AIM or MSN? You seem like you know alot about DragonFlys and I would appreciate talking to you about it. I'm a newbie to these things and I rather not wait a day to get response from tech support and forums. So anyway, if you have any of those messengers, please add me.

MSN: [email protected]
AIM: FalloutYear14

Thanks, appreciate you'r time.
