weird problem

I have a Blade CP that has a problem. When you move the cyclic left it drops altitude and when you move cyclic right it gains in altitude. What is the problem can someone help me out and have others had this problem. Its been like that since I bought it.
Thanks

are you moving the collective . has it crashed. flybar could be off

No I am not moving the collective, fly bar is straght and no crashes. Its been like this out of the box. Should I buy new parts rather than sending it back about the same cost either way?

with the motor disconnected, but power to the heli, move the cyclic left and right, i bet you can see the swashplate moving up and down on the shaft which it shouldnt be doing, maybe one of your servo's is screwed , the two rearward servos when you give left cyclic or right cyclic should move opposite of each other and in the same exact amount of travel, if one travels farther than the other it affects the pitch.

Yup, when applying cyclic in any direction, the swashplate should not move up or down. It should remain in the same position on the shaft and just tilt.

Would the gear mesh be too tight by any chance?

One sero does move a bit farther than the other, and the 2 back servos are not centered. So should I take it apart and center all the servos or send it back because one servo is traveling more than the others. I dont want to send it back if its just an adjustment I have to make.

Are you using the stock radio? Your EPAs (End Point Adjustments) on the servos might be off

RE: weird problem

Yes its the same way it is out of the box. I called and talked to a person at Horizon and they said it was normal. I dont think it is because the demo Blade CP does not do it at all. Mine really drops fast with very little imput to the left and climbs fast with little imput to the right.. I can see the likage binding up, it is so bad the it changes the gear mesh and causes a bad vibration. I think I might just send it back to them and let them deal with it.

are you talking about the servo horns the pieces that connect the servo to the rod? they should all be horizontal when the swashplate is at midway point of its travel. if one servo arm is higher than the other, this will cause a difference in distance traveled because as you can see there is a bit of an arc on the servo arm when it moves, so you have to make sure all 3 servo horns are at the same exact height when the swashplate is level.

RE: weird problem

Everything is set correctly and plugged in correctly. I now have it taken down to the SP. When I move the stick to the left slowly you can see the the SP move down slightly and the same if you move the stick to the right but the SP goes up slightly. I am begining to wonder if the SP is bad. The little brass guide ball is loose in the housing is this normal or is it bad? I cannot get the servo arms perfectly centered because the serv itself is off cnter and the trims are centered Should I take the servos apart and cener the output shaft?
