Honeybee2 TX modification question
 

What is the best way to get the "clicks" out of the throttle stick on the stock Hb2 TX. While hovering I always seem to be between clicks so the heli becomes unstable up and down.

ya gotta do surgury. you have to open the radio.. and I have read numerous way's of doing it. some like it with a piece of gas hose across the metal tab some just remove the tab alltogether.. but it makes the stick too sloppy.. I personally took a dremel to the quarter moon on the backside of the stick and buzzed it off with a puny stone.. as fluid as possible one swipe.. then replaced the tab. I had experimented with putting more tension on the tab but it fealt best just stock pressure.. once ya do it tho.. you cant go back '_;

I just slipped a piece of fuel tubing over the metal piece that contacts the plastic teeth inside the TX and the problem is solved. Thanks for the help.

Just bend it up a little. Simple.

i twisted it and bent it so it would rub up against the side ( so i would still have some resistance)

Yeah, you need some sort of resistance on it, going with no resistance is asking for trouble :).

I, like Human_Enigma, used sandpaper to grind off the ridges, then put some electrical tape over the clip to provide some resistance. Worked real nice, throttle up and down is real smooth and just the right ammount of pressure to keep the stick from flopping around by it's self.
