which micro rtf?
Should i get the global evoflight sabre or the venom night ranger 2? I'm a heli newb so i don't know much. I do know alot about electrics though so i'm covered there. Which is better bang for you buck? Which will be easier to fly, and how high can i fly one of these minis? Can i get like 10 feet? I'm kinda leaning towards the venom, but i'm not quite sure. Thanks.

RE: which micro rtf?
If your a beginner like me, you have 2 choices. The hard way, or the easy way. There are heli's out there that are real easy to fly, and then there's the more advanced flier types. Well. I knew if I got one of the easy one's, I would get bored with it fast, and I probably wouldn't learn much about helicopters. I went with the VNR3D and I just love it !!! I had my share of problems, and I got in trouble several time and crashed, but today, it looks like new, and flies great. Whatever ya get, give it a good once over, make sure everything is tight. Above all, go slow, and be careful. Even with the training balls installed, it's easy to do damage. Do not let the blades contact anything but air. One swipe of the sofa, and you'll have about 20 to 30 dollars in parts to buy. And try not to let it slap the ground hard. The blades will flex and strike the tail boom, and thats the same senario parts wise. Just be real careful, and patient, and you won't break too much while learning. Parts for the VNR3D are just getting readily available cause their so new, so if ya read anything about that, it's being handled. I can't rate anything but the VNR3D right now, but I can tell you that it is a well made machine for $219.00. Hope that helps.... Dennis

RE: which micro rtf?
If you are new to rc helicopter and want something to get start easily, you can choose
1. ESKY LAMA 2 (stable) ([link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=14]Video[/link]) 2. Blade CX ([link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Files/EFL_CX.mov]Video[/link]) 3. HouseFly (Walkera No. 5) ([link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=15]Video[/link]) 4. Hirobo (expensive, but very very stable) |
