HB2 GOING CRAZY!

I have a Honeybee CP2 and had a crash the other day..broke the blades, but that was about it,I put a new pair of blades on and now the thing won't even get light on the skids until I give it 3/4 throttle and when it does get in the air it will hover ok for a while and then all of the sudden it might jerk left or right and hit the floor and sometimes it will leap in the air or slam downward.
What in the world is wrong here, before I could hover it and it was stable and no problems like these!

Sounds like a bent feathering shaft.

Hi

Also make sure your main shaft is not bent.

What is a feathering shaft?
Should the paddles on the flybar be a 0 degrees or should I turn them up a little?

Does anyone know if the Blade CP main shaft and drive gear will fit in the Honeybee CP2?
The LHS sells Blade parts but no HBCP2 parts.

The feathering shaft is the one that connects the blade holders. its very soft, and i have bent many, many of them. it goes through the head, and has two 1.5 mm allen head bolts on eather side. you have to remove the blades, use 2 (yes, two) 1.5 mm hex wrenches, and one side will losen. then remove the blade holder and pay CAREFULL attention to the order and number of shims/washers, and which washers have ridges, they point to the bearings. you should now be able to slide the other side out of the head assembly. it may be hard if the shaft is really bent, but it usually comes out. check it on a flat table by rolling it. if its bent, you'll know.

to re-assemble, reverse the order, and make sure you get the shims and washers correct.

RE: HB2 GOING CRAZY!

I think I found my problem...the paddle control frame was broken on both sides where the flybar goes though allowing the flybar to rotate around in flight, also the plastic end on the rotor head where the flybar goes though was broke,I ordered these parts from HeliDirect yesterday and they are on the way..I hope this was the problem!
What do ya think..could this really effect the stabilty of the heli?
I will update when I get the parts on.
Thanks for you're input!
