Shogun Problem

Hey Guys
I have a Shogun 2 that I recently just finished. It is a stock machine with the brushed motor, the only thing I have changed is that I have removed the foam rotor blades and installed the wooden blades. I have balanced the fly bar paddles and the rotor blades using a gram scale. I checked to make sure that the fly bar is centered in the hub. The helicopter flys great, but while the blades are spooling down, it goes through a vibration phase where the helicopter will shake and do the jig. Does any body have an idea how to go about solveing this problem?

RE: Shogun Problem

try just snugging up the blades in the grips.

i went through the same thing with my 3dpro...round and round balancing, rebalancing, checking, double checking everything in the head. ended up just torquing the blades down and its smooth as silk---not so tight that they cant straighten themselves when the get spooled up....but, tighter than normally recommended.

there are a multitude of things that can cause the shakes. this may not fix it...but, its a simple enough procedure to warrant a try.

good luck.
