Logo 10 or Eolo

Hi I am thinking of getting a elec heli within a week, and I am down to two. Logo 10 and Eolo. Can you guys give me some info or idea about them? They both can do 3D rite? Thank you in advance!

If it's between those 2, I'd say get the Logo!

I finally got myself a Logo, unfortunately haven't flown it yet, still getting everything together but can't wait, you can't really compare the 2, the Logo is pretty much a .30 size heli and they're not even in the same league. The only reason you may want to consider the Eolo in my opinion is if you had limited space to fly and wanted something smaller...

updated, just got done with a bunch of flights, WoW!!
Awesome machine, unreal stable and smooth and very responsive! The wind is no problem too, Just unreal!

Get yourself a Logo! :D

I have an Eolo R22 and it is fantastic. Super easy to fly. I piled it into the ground and only lost my main blades, landing gear and fly bar : cost £35 Amazing

It is no powerhouse and don't expect to do 3d unless you go brushless.

I have an Eolo and a Logo 10. Both are really great but I don't think there are comparable. The Eolo is my latest toy's and is replacing my LMH. You need Brushless drives for any of them.

Hivoltage 07-30-2003 09:13 PM

Either!!!

I have a Logo 10 and it rocks.!!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about the Eolo so I have one of them on the way also.!!!! It is smaller than the Logo10.

So, I guess it depends on what you want, bigger or smaller.

But I agree...to get the most out of any electric you should get the brushless Motor. Spend the money up front for a brushless setup and you wont be disappointed.!!!!!

Not much help huh???????

I disagree, the eolo kit is $299, the Logo 10 is $339, if you set those both up with brushless set ups and equivalent gyros and servos, the cost difference is minute and the Logo 10 is ultra stable, winds don't bother it and can do mad 3D. I'm sure the eolo is pretty stable and can do some crazy 3D too, I never flown one but I'm pretty sure it's not as stable as a Logo 10 nor could it handle wind as well.

But then again, it's not really a fair comparison as the eolo is a good amount smaller so in my opinion it boils down to the size that you want, if you need something smaller to fly in smaller areas etc. get the eolo and if you have enough space I'd say of course get the Logo 10!

I'm actually thinking about getting an eolo for the back yard myself! I just wished there were other canopies for it.

Hi Astronut,
Robbe just came out with a new canopy. www.wachsmuth.com carries another canopy as well.
Check out this Eolo.

Nice! Das what I'm talking bout! That canopy is sharp, literally, haha.

Yup, I was debating on getting another Corona, or a Pic Pro or Eolo for the backyard etc. I think I just made up my mind! Hopefully I can do it in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, Cool pics Northstar :D So how's parts availability on it? Also, think that Atomic Force motor will be good in it initially just for sport flying?

Hi Astronut,
parts availibility is superb (at least here in Germany) but this depends very much of the hobbystore.

Hivoltage, where did you order yours from? RChover is backordered and doesn't have any and I can't seem to find another place and the sites I did see is in German so I can't understand and I tried emailing one of them with no reply...

oh I see lol...

well I'm still last minute deciding on a piccolo pro too, nice to be able to hover in the house but then again I used to hover my corona in the house so the eolo should be fine, man I can't make up my mind...

Oh that soon, cool! Anyone got a pic of an Eolo side by side with a micro or a Corona or something for size comparison?

hi Astronut,
I can send you one of my LMH110 in the next days. I am just coming back from my backyard. You can control the Eolo on a much smaller field. I am really amazed by this little Heli.

Ok, Great, I'd really like to see those side by side, if it's about the same size, I'm most likely going with that.

So the Eolo is about the samie size as the 110?

I also already ordered a Hacker C40 8L, hopefully it works out in there...

Actually, the Eolo is very similar in size and weight to the Corona 120. Have you considered a Voyager E?

astronut30 08-02-2003 08:41 PM

Logo 10 or Eolo

I had a Voyager E right before I got my Logo 10 wouldn't make sense to keep it as I'd rather fly the Logo 10 and the VE isn't that much smaller, basically what I'm looking ot get is something small enough to do backyard messing around and some in house hovering...

Hivoltage 08-02-2003 09:17 PM

Not sure the Eolo is an in-house heli. Might be but my house is not big enough. Great for in the yard though which is why I ordered one. Of course it will go to the field with me also.!!!

So now I will have 2 nitro's and 2 electrics.

I'm sure I'm reposting this but here we go :-)

The Eolo is 100% NOT an indoor heli. Hover indoors and you will have your house and heli in shreds. It's far to big and fast for indoors.
