Default Smart Model

Hey guys, as a turbine head that I am, I must say that I am mighty impressed with the quality of Kins EDF work at Smart Model. Can be found [link=http://www.smartmodel.com.hk/products/product.asp?cat_id=144&sub_cat_id=232&third_id=166]here[/link]

We are thinking of getting a few into the country for evaluation. Has anyone had any experience with these in the flesh or flown them? I've seen the videos but I would like unbiased opinion.

I see you can buy direct for $589 including freight.

Any hands on info would be appreciated.

I am working with kin on turbine versions of his models that we.
will offer ourselves and through a dealer network world wide starting with
Al's hobbies and modelbau USA
The plan is to have them come with composite tanks and
Thrust tubes

We are already a regional dealer for their edf models covering Australia and
New Zealand

Retracts will be an add on

Here we go with the trumpet solo, give it a rest.

I am also working with toyota to develop a rocket car that I will offer through my network that will cover our solar system as well as the next two, that is if you haven't wrapped them up as well..

Is there anyone else out there that has actually seen these or flown them?

You raised the topic.. I have allready supplied the specs, cad diagrams and everything else need for p-20 installs...
Alse as the larger jets come online I have supplied 60/80 size details.. Thats pretty much the largest Kin has planned..
And yes the little twin 64/70mm F-15 flies great.. I am about the change the fans for some custom mod fans for more power and then i'll video a few flights for you..

Al will be testing the P-20 models as I dont have ready access to one of these.. However if you are interested in testing/doing a build thread/flight report on one of the larger models like the F-35 or F-20 let me
know and we will work something out..

I also have my F-100 and F9F panther coming up if either of them interest you..

Mind, they are built around the 60/80 size turbines, so you'll need to have one of them handy..

You obviously didnt read my response.. I have an F-15 and now a hawk is on the way.. So people will have flown them and now I have my new handycam with image stabilisation (as good cameramen are hard to find) i'll try and get a good video (i even have something to give me cockpit cam  ) I'm going to try the hawk with a velocity wm400mk2 of 5s.. should be plenty of power..

You obviously didn't read mine, I was asking for someone who has flown one, not that you are the dealer for everything as you so often tell everyone.

And, you haven't flown one let alone touched one in the flesh have you?

So I'm not sure what your intention is responding on this thread, can you enlighten us to why you feel the need to?

This sort of response just reitterates my point.
Obviously you have little idea about etiquette.
I dont go into other vendors threads and push myproducts, and I never pushed a product in Gregs thread.
Seems whenever I post on a forum there you are posting after me, insecurity or stalker, I havent quite decided yet.

"Trust me" LOL along with your childish retorts that would be the funniest thing you have said in a forum!

<span style="color: #0000ff">"A few times"</span> ?? Thats almost as funny, I wouldlist all the times you have posted right after me in rcgroups, or edited your post, or made an underhand comment aboutanother product while peddling your own in this forum, but whats the point, everyone sees it as it is anyway. You are the one who entered the forums on the attack, the turbineguys seem to be your latest target.

Easy to see 90% of my www posts are <u>sharing</u> of tests &amp; data, experiences, ideas, advice and modelling in general. Looking through your posts one would be hard pressed to find anything remotely charitable, merely a facade.

You should have left the thread to Molo in the first place rather than trying to derail it for your own agenda.</p>
