Default BVM EVF fan for Tam Jets F-16

Does anyone know if the BVM EVF fan will fit in the TAM Jets electric F-16?

Won't knowing the measurements of both yield that information?

What if someone says "yes" and they are wrong?

Do you already have the BVM EVF fan?

What does EVF stand for?

Good point, if I had the exact measurements, say both in metric, than I would have the answer and since there is some room for error in what a manufacturer claims in some measurements and since the information from someone who ACTUALLY installed a BVM Elevtric VioFan, EVF, into the plane in question would be considered more valuable than simply taking measurements from some website or piece of paper, especially considering that the installation could show some issues that may require adjustments in mounting, etc, hence the reason I developed this post.

The 120mm one will fit as the EVF is 120mm.

Tam has ducting.

What?

You are saying you don't have confidence in the BVM measurements?

I thought he had it down pat?

If that's the case, and it clearly is, I can see why you would want the advice from someone who has avtually made the conversion.

Also, they could guide you through it.

Just measured my EVF. Outer diameter is just under 124.5 mm. To the outer ribs it is 128 mm. Centers between the mounting lugs are 140 mm. Intake inner diameter would need to be 125mm to mate up to EVF without any modifications. I dont know any dimensions on the F-16, but maybe this will help.

thanks, I sent an e-mail to TAM weeks ago but he never replied. I thought maybe he did not like the idea of not using his fan and motor for his kit. I like the F-16 and have the BVM 12S stuff
