Scotch19,
I am a frequent HK buyer. I have never had a problem with my orders. My only issue is that on 2 occasions I have given an incomplete address (my orders are mailed to my job(s) and not my home) so they get "lost" in the mail. You can go onscreen and check your order. If you do an online chat prior to shipping your order, and you see something is not right, you can change it. That's my advice to you. Also, they now have a US store. Try odering from that store or see if you can return it to the US store instead of HK. That will at least save you on the shipping.
Overall, I would not worry too much.

once they didn't pack one item on the order, but rectified right away after notice.
i am a very satisfied customer!

51 orders, $4K plus, no issues at all. Great products, quick if not fast shipping, often the same products offered by "American" companies, at 1/4 the price or less. Even the shipping costs are close for buckets of small items. A truly great business model, getting better as time passes.
