Default RE: Mirage 4000 Famous / HK Personnal Speed record :

Bravo...6 blade fan?
4 cell good battery...3200kv motor?

The reason I ask is this: Would you try a Cyclone 3300, 3700, or 4100 kv outrunner on the 4 cell and Delta V 15 fan unit? My Rafale by HET has 2 WemoTec Minifan pro, with 4 cell and 4100kv motors. Power is 1400 watt, and the fan is 5 blade.

I don't know what sort of thrust I get...the aircraft is 5.25 lbs. or about 2.4 kilos. Have not flown it yet.

I cannot understand why my setups are more kv than others in 70mm fans. Is it that I'm pushing the limits? The current draw is 86 amps.

I have other 70mm (HET 6904, generic Wemo, WM400 (pusher)) with setups like 6 cell/2500kv motors (others are using 1850kv on 6 cell) My units are stable and put off lots of power...1400 to 1600 watts per fan. I still cannot measure thrust, and static thrust is dangerous anyway...it seems best to run the fans at full rpm while moving...
