I've never played around with the 4.5" Hoaye, but their 5" unit is ok. 

If you wanted to sell it they're like $25 new, plus shipping.

4.5 Hoyae works well with a scorpion HK-4035-630 on 12s drawing 62A. Puts out 10 lb +. Been flying in my Reaction for several years now.

wow , that's impressive. i wouldn't think that it would make enough thrust to fly a 54. how's the performance? any video? here's a pic right after i got signed off for my turbine wavier. though i didn't own the plane i did build it for my friend . WB_1

Reinforce motor mount with 1/8" wood disk around 52mm or a PC board disc around 52mm and then put ignorant power through them

The motor mount is the week part of the fan everything else is good

Been radared at 140. Big *****cat that goes where ever it's pointed. Very visabily slows down when the big flaps go down.
