Note that an exact profile may be unstable in a small model; and likely will need a killer landing speed because of high wing loading. The Starfighter may be the only fixed-wing aircraft in history that the pilot could not see any part ofthe wing from the cockpit while in flight. This was a ballistic projectile with some pilot control. You could turnona dime - provided it was a six mile diameter dime.;-) The Starfighter is one of my favorite jets - nevera better looking jet IMHO.

Here's a site where you can download drawings.

Hi Charlie P. THK for replay HA HA HA HA HA yessssssss!
also for me .
this is for a long time this aircraft was successfully used by many international forces, despite the "bad name" to be a plane with a wing loading significantly reduced "an rocket with wings ". and this is an aircraft that requires much effort and attention to be piloted in the "f-104 does not forgive mistakes!" but this has obviously affected the feelings of the pilots have had when flying with this aircraft. made in between the pilots received an estimate over time than that and a still from a distance of 20 years sene hear with regret.
Absolutely yes! I know the reputation that has this plane! I know his ability as a 'flight. and that's why I groped to experience a wing loading similar but not identical to the real thing ... a plane model must have this too! Thanks for the designs but more 'what else I'm looking for advice on such profiles might be better for this aircraft. except the usual profile like NACA 2412 or clark. I would like to know from you what things you might be better.

It can be done - and is certainly worth doing. I'm about he same age as the design and had hand-launched "toy" gliders and staitc display models of the F-104 as a youngster. It just looks fierce and deadly.

Idon't consider myself a jet piolt (so far just a EDF foamie F-86 Sabre) but the Starfighter will always turn my head.
