What a difference a day makes! Yesterday flying at the beach in shorts (vid.) and today there are snow blizzards all over the country! Enjoy.

You are so funny it is almost laughable, did you ever fly EDF at the beach? It's magic.

Understandable considering the packed sand near the water would make a very smooth runway.

Just fitted in new power set up giving me 1/1 power to weight on 8S. 12blader on 1400kv. Short flight today in very hot and windy conditions. Not much fun but living beach lifestyle you can't be too picky. (latest action, vid.)

The worse landing with my Phantom over the years flying in miserable windy conditions. It's easy to take off but another story to bring it back! Enjoy the gale.

My favored pass time, playing in the sand pit.

Zooooming along.
In the "Fantom" mood today, rather pleasant day at the beach.

Result of the minor carelessness last week at my home club, after hot landing in dead calm trying to avoid finishing in the creek, applied power bit too late to go around resulting in a nasty stall!
Luckily no structural damage beside the the whole front section ending in the bits, taking all the stress of the nose impact.
After 2nd. thought I decided to fix it.
(Fantom T/off at Coffs)-vid. cam run out of juice after recording 5 earlier flights, bugger!

Result of the bad decision at wrong time!

The new base in place.

Rather time consuming exercise, 20h. so far, 20 to go!

From this to -

-this, after few days of crap weather, only minor colour change.
Few days of crap weather and my good old "Fantom" is ready for more action.
