Default Rx not always connecting

I'm flying a Freewing T45 and I had a bit of a bouncy landing. Ok, it sucked. Anyway, no real damage but now when I plug the battery in , sometimes it syncs with the Tx, sometimes it doesn't. In order to make it work, I have to unplug and plug the battery in 3 or 4 times. What gives?

Hold the radio 3 or 4 feet away from the model and try it.

Its a known issue, especially if you're around a lot of metal like metal tables, pickup truck bed (popular here in the south), things like that can create reflected RF and confuse the linking process.

Ah, I'll give that a go. I usually have the Tx beside the wing.
