Default Is this the only decent size EDF jet kit?

The only jet kit (ARFs not wanted) of decent wingspan Ive found is the Turbinator 83% (60" ws, 12-14 lbs weight (seems very heavy to me) requiring 7-11 lbs of thrust)? I see no threads for it, has anyone built this using EDF?

Any other EDF Kits about this size and which handle retracts?

Have a look at "The RC Custom Jets". They have few descent size EDF kits. I'm building the 1/5,5 L39 120MM EDF.

I've been on that website but missed the EDF version - It's right in the ballpark for what I was thinking. Do you have a build thread or the EDF/servo/retracts schematics in place yet?

Also, how hard to handle do you expect this plane to be - high speed only?

No build log this time, its a very good kit, perfect fitting parts. You have the basic frame done in about 5h!!! Sheeting takes a bit longer though. :-)
Aiming for low weight (7 to 8kg) on 120mm Jetfan eco with 800-68 685kv HET tyhoon on 10s, KForce 120A ESC. Might upgrade to 12s once test flights are done. Slim wing servos are a must so I took TGY-S712G. Retracts are JP hobby ER-120 complete set with brakes. Perfect fit for this model but some small adjustments are needed.
