Mounting the power set up.

Thrust tube roll out.

Rubber mounting of modified shrouds.

Test runs.

ESC programming.

Modified power system is fully installed and static run tested after bit of messing around with various ESCs. Currently working on bell mouth intakes to be 3D printed to improve performance.

Ready for maiden.

After 7 hand launches but only 4 flights all good.

Into the void.

In the full blast pass by.
Flies much better than expected, lot faster and extremely quiet, but hand launching is another matter! Pretty tricky, it will take lot more practice to master it to perfection while doing it over the soft growth surface to start with for safety.

Best self hand launch so far, slowly getting there.

Full bore fly-by.

Shallow approach land.
Now fitted with the new air intakes it is hardly audible, still sorting out few things to calm it down being very sensitive to control inputs due to the micro servos, which would be a nightmare to replace for something more substantial, so in the mean time have to put up with.

Widow's working overtime, despite few scary hand launches, only thanks to my 3D flying skills gets me always out of it! The good old golf saying, the more you prax the luckier you'll get!

Not as bad,

or this one!

At the beach.

Just another flying site.

New re-designed air intakes to be fitted to get the best out of it!

Despite few pretty scary hand launches last few days the mini "TW" is doing great, few more flights at the beach early morn before and after the sunrise.

Back at the sand.

After scary hand launch, managed to pull out of it!

Caught in action.

Early morning over the Pacific.

Pretty flying spot.

Mini "TW" got this morn the real test flying in windy conditions, easy to launch but bit of a battle in the air.

Grey windy morning.

Few more flights with the "TW" today, and probably the most horrific hand launch so far, inverted launch roll tx to some X wind! Quick thump action sort it it out just in time clearing the gully by inches. Just love it!

Inverted after launch!
