Based on couple of smallest EDF jets in my fleet, here comes the first step creating over 2 meter version, powered by 3.5-4Kwatt 90 mm power set up on 8-10S.
Sleek as an arrow.

Using meters of Carbon Fiber tubing Marine Ply and lot of Epoxy I completed the messy job laminating the basic frame work with further progress on upper body.
Frame lamination in progress.
External air scoop intakes out of plastic lemonade bottle.

Just about finished with the new toy, took it out for a range check and some tracking runs, all good, few more brush strokes to seal off the gold plating and some internals. My original intention to run 8 or 10S was downgraded to 6S to start with, as the 120ESC was unable to handle the high current draw over 120A.

Today having couple of goes with the "Golden Arrow", couldn't rotate! Too wet, probly too nose heavy, also down wind leg due to the wet strip. There's always next time.
(Golden Arrow maiden attempts)
Atrociously wet strip!

After few flight on 6S I have decided to upgrade it to 8S, 1.5kilo extra thrust at rather high current draw so never went past 80% during today's test flight. So much livelier.
Now on 8S.
