Default Scale lighting question

I recently put lights on my S.E. 5A just as a learning lesson prior to installing them on a jet im building and realized that if I plug them into a channel on my reciever they always have power instead of the channel switch on my radio activating them like I was hoping. So question is how do I put a light set on to my aircraft and it work (on/off) by a channel switch on my radio (Futaba 7EX 2.4ghz)

One easy way is to pull the pcb and pot out of an old servo. Wire the lights in place of the motor.

Thats a interesting idea dave. Is there a switch made for this? Im putting the lights in a HET FA-18 and want to save as much weight as possible not mention space inside is limited.

Yes, at least one company makes one, I've seen it advertised. I was just thinking "free" and that most people that have been in the hobby for a while have that box of dead servos on a shelf.
