Default PHASE III F16 MODS to FIT HET 6904 Fan

Guys,
i just got a 2w20 HET FAN ESC for my phase III F16. The Fan ESC has a real short thick cable and routing under the fan could be reall fun ..not. I am wondering if anybody has done this can help or send me pix. I am thinking of installing it as pusher so I dont need to route wires under it. ANY THOUGHT? some pictures would be great help.
thanks
jason

Use a soldering itron to make the grooves bigger and extend the esc wires. I have that fan on my plane and it fit no problem.

Hi Hoges,
Are you using 2300 mah 4 cell? it seemed to me that could be too big and make the plane too heavy. any thoughts.?

As I mentioned on another tread, I'm just finishing the build onmy second Phase 3. This one with the HET 6904 unit with a 2650mah 4s lipo.
I had to reinforce the Morganmills polycarbonate intake. The HET 6904 produces so much suction it was collapsing the intake tube.
I added 1/16 ply to the tail area as suggested in the supplemental instructions, plus carbon fiber spars to the wings.
There was quite a lot of foam removal to get everything to fit, fan unit, ESC, Morganmills intake, ect.
A lot more work then then the stock Phase 3, I hope it's worth it.
It came in heavier then expected, 35 oz
I'm wondering how it will fly at this weight?

Set the throw at 1/2 in..... In the right and left turning or it will be to touchy to handle. Elev is ok on 1 in throw. Hand launches nice on a four cell with a 64 mm fan and 3500 kv motor from value hobby about 75- 80 mph.
