Default What the heck should I upgrade to?

Hey all

Well as you all must be I am a speed freak, I have been into planes for a bit, but been into RC my whole life. RC planes is something I like doing with my father, even though I fund everything and he just enjoys it LOL, its ok by me though. Well anyway I am trygint o think of a plane/jet that will give me that need for speed, BUT not so fast I can not control/handle it. I am not a professional, or expert, I would say intermediate and getting better the mroe I fly. Right now I am flying a Supercub (don't laugh) on 3S 1800 Lipo's, is fun, durable, but I can fly it in my sleep and I am getting bored. I want to make the smart upgrade choice thats why I am here

My price range is not to exceed 200.00 (preferably cheaper would be nicer) I am thinking ARF or PNP.

I am trying to find a plane/jet that is

in mypricerange
fast (but not uncontrolable)
durable
3S lipo's
possablyupgradable?

Well I think you all get me, and have had these same questions.

THANKS!

George

Hi George,

I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly, but I'll throw the AeroCat out there for your consideration. It is fast, easy to build, inexpensive, and flies great! It will fly just fine on your 1800 lipo.

You can check it out here:

Thanks,

Scott DeTray

Well I am looking for something more exciting, and faster then my supercub, which I can fly in my sleep, I am bored with it.

I wanna be wowed! but staying within the criteria I listed above.

Planes I have been looking at is the one listed in the link above,

F-27C Stryker PNP

T-28 Trojan

I have been looking at anything FAST, jets etc... there are alot to choose fro and I just want to choose the "right one" fast one, durable one, reliable one, popular one, etc...

My biggest is thing is staying within my budget. 175.00 +/-

I have been flying a Stryker 27C for quite some time and it is fast enough for me.
I can do between 60 and 70 mph on level flight and have been clocked at over 80 mph on a dive with some wind behind it.

Quite thrilling to go 60 mph on a low pass about 3 feet from the ground!
