Default Replacing the motor on Starmax FA-18 64mm

Hi, I'm about to replace the motor on my 64mm Starmax FA18 with a new 'Wicked' one from Dons RC. Silly as it seems, I seem not to be able to remove the stock engine from the stock fan. Anyone done this ? Any cheats ? I've removed the leading screw from the fan itself, but the fan is stuck and I'm not to keen to apply major force on it trying to pull it loose before I know if this is the way to go.

Silly topic really but I'm kind of stuck here...

Default RE: Replacing the motor on Starmax FA-18 64mm

I have one that I crashed so I took the motor and put it in a F4. All I did was remove the scew on the fan and it pulled staight off. Than there was two scews holding the motor on.

Mike.
