Default Formost 160 EDF conversion

Flew my Formost 160 this weekend. Here is a [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1106333]link[/link] of the construction article. Power system is a 5" Hoaye fan, Hacker A50-14S 10 poles motor & 10S XPS 5000 ma LiPo packs. Wing span is 76" RTF weight is 14 lbs. Flies very well for a lost cost project. Airframe is $169.00 on Ebay.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the link. Great job!

I wish I had seen this project before I released my latest AMP'D column because it fits the theme of larger, lower cost EDFs perfectly. This type of model may suit more pilots that wanted to try a larger EDF but maybe didn't have the flying skills for a scale jet.

Regards.
