Wife gave me a $200.00 budget. Is there ANY ARF or RTF jets out there that you guys recommend? Or what would you do with your $200 bucks?

I wouldn't buy a rtf for that price but the gear is usually junk, but you could piece together a decent combo for that if you already have the battery/charger/Tx/Rx. I have one of [link=http://www.nitroplanes.com/78a71-sr71-black-kit.html]these[/link] SR-71s that is very nice for the price add a couple of [link=http://www.hobbypartz.com/75m91-ducted-2015-4000.html]these 4000 Kv edf motors[/link], a 4S battery that can handle 70 amps, 5 - 9gm servos and a couple of 40A or better speed controls and your in business.

Sorry for the obvious plug (as I work for Great Planes), but what about this one??? It's under your $200.00 budget (less radio gear).
Here's a link as well:

I wouldn't recommend it though if you're a beginner.

krproton seeing how you work for Great Planes can you get some other photos of the plane, other than what is posted on there site. I am interested in the fan mounting area. I a wondering if I could shoe horn a larger fan in there. It looks like it may be possible according to the instruction manual.

Hi phornite.
If you go to the Tower Hobbies site you can view the manual with plenty of photos including fan installation. Honestly, for me at least, I don't think it would be worth the effort of stuffing a larger fan in there. We've already clocked the plane at over 100mph (average speed passes straight-and-level in both directionsupwind and downwind).
Oops! I went back and re read your post and see you already saw the manual. If there is something else you want to see that isn't photographed in the manual let me know and I can take a pic of one of the ones sitting on my workbench at work.
Hope this helps you though.
