VPro L39 looks sweet ... 70mm class comes with fan and motor installed. Their quality is always impeccable. Length 900mm, W/span 810mm, wing area 13.9dm2 and 1100 ~ 1200g all-up weight. Its a 4S 3,300 mAh set up. :)

RE: L-39! What a great Jet, ya got one?

tIANci,

WOW!

Nice work and what a fine looking Jet!

The model I have interest in would be about 111cm or 44" in span. Perfect for the 90mm Fans. A bit smaller than your Jet.

I see you offer your models unpainted.

Well guess what? I happen to be a painter. Over 35 years of it, including airbrush, graphics and show cars.

So, if you have any customers in my great neighborhood of Florida, that need a model painted, I'll be glad to help them out!

Plus, I could use the work.

There's always a catch! :D

Well, you had that link, I thought for sure you were somebody. Sorry for my mistake.

OK, it's humor!

Hey! tIAMci,

What are you flying or building?

RE: L-39! What a great Jet, ya got one?

Charles ... we do not have a proper RC field here, strange? We are nomads, looking for empty pieces of land to fly from. So that means no belly landing EDFs. Am going back to small planes of 3S 2200 mAh or less. Dislike going to a dusty field that may be muddy bcos it rained 2 days before, and then bake under the sun with little shade. So all my bigger planes are just stored ... got a 50cc and 100cc recently, wanted to go for EP conversion but I am motivated to do so.

Keep in mind, I'm still looking for information on the 44" span L-39.

Thanks

I have the Hobby Topgun 46" span foam L-39 and love it! It flies very well on a Freewing 90mm fan and Freewing 1750kv motor with 6S 5000mah battery. 5 minute flights are common and flying on and off grass is also the norm. Cruises easily on less than 1/2 throttle and about 90mph flat out. Mine weighs 3.2kg with battery and is equipped with air retracts, HTG landing gear struts with alloy wheels, flaps, rudder and wheel brakes (only needed on pavement). The large 2 place cockpit is the centerpiece of the model and was scratch built by my father. Hobbyking has a great deal on them now without servos.

All my servos are the HXT-900 type and work well on this and my other 90mm models. At less than $3 a piece they are a bargain servo that haven't let me down yet (with hundreds of flights total in all my models).
Cheers Eric

(The pictures are from before I upgraded the nose gear strut and alloy wheels)
