FMS A-10 Edf

Does anyone have this Edf?? They show a 5000mah 6S battery in all the reviews and it's pushed way back. I have the same battery and to have the CG at 80-85mm my battery is so far forward the hatch wont go on?? Anyone have this plane please tell me your experience. Yes also tried to balance it upright and upside down and no difference. Cant believe I might have to add nose weight!!!!!!!!
Thanks Bob

Yes and it does not need nose weight.

That's it no other ideas or comments?
Where exactly is your battery? How can one and balance there and one be way off?

I took a magnet to mine and found some small billets in the nose that were there to balance it. Maybe yours doesn't?

So I assume that should be balanced with the gear down like most low wing airplanes correct?
Just for fun I balance it with the gear down and push the battery back just enough where the hatch would go on properly and temporarily put 2.86 oz2in the nose of bee bees.
I bounced with the gear up and it was 2.23 oz
Ideas??
Thanks

Those gear swing back to extend, so if you balance it gear up, and extend the gear to land you become tail heavy, an undesirable circumstance when flying a jet.

Balance it gear down, that will be your landing configuration, it will probably need some up trim because it will go slightly nose heavy with the gear retracted.

Looks like it will balance with about 2.72 ounces of weight in the nose?? What do you think about that should be ok??

Landing gear

Has anyone swapped the gear out of the plane as I find the gear extremy stiff and unforgiving

Balance

Have about 10 flights have battery back to edge of wood platform no issues
