After few more add ons, I have managed to test fly it yesty on miserable grey day, took me 6 bad hand launches to get it airborne on the 7th. after finding the correct CG spot. With these small models it is absolutely crucial!
It was very lively due to some over controlling with too much Elevon travel, I rather have more than not enough for a maiden. Almost lost it against the grey sky at one point, but with some luck managed to bring it back, few more little dints on the frame after those 6 bad launches into the soft growth but all fixed now ready for more action after the big wet spell next 5-6 days. All speedo issues sorted out, ready for action, spent 1/2 hour waiting this eve at the field for the drizzle to stop but it did not happen! Hopefully next few days after the cyclone is gone!

Few more flights this morn in rather doom&gloom, over mosquito infested wet pastures, after 2 flights I had to buzz-off being eaten alive!

My hand launcher jets come very handy to make most of in our current wet spell, while the grass strips are bit boggy. Flying it daily, either at the beach or the cow pastures with mosquitos eating me alive. Even "AERO-GUARD" doesn't work in this wet infestation.

After all my recent flying action the fan seem to re-balance itself! Another great flying morn, launching it down wind as an experiment.

After installation of of my new 50A/2-4S speedy and the larger capacity battery I took it to the hill for another test flight, just a slight CofG off-balance ended up in total disaster hitting the ground on full power after my first hand launch!
I managed to tape-up considerable damage to the front of the model and had another go with minor shift of the battery backward. Dead calm conditions did not help much, but just managed to clear the ground by few inches for the longest flight so far after scariest launch (vid.) It seem like with the larger capacity battery I will be able to extend my flight time for 3-5 minutes. I have found even 5 mm shift in CG balance makes a huge difference with these tiny high powered models, making it even more challenging. Getting most of this model, it's working overtime, absolutely brilliant performer, but can be bit of a handful to hand launch.
