Another Byron Conversion
 

I just cleaned 15 years of dust from my Byron F-16. It looks surprisingly great! So now I'm interested in converting it to EDF. The desire to fuss around with the old
glow power package is ZERO.
Having no experience, I don't know where to start. I would like to buy a proven power package ( motor, speed control, fan, batteries, and charger) all from one vendor
that is capable of holding my hand if I have questions, which I' sure I will. Our current flying field is a little on the short side, so I am looking for something that
has good acceleration to get airborne quickly.

Any help, or suggestion on who to call would be greatly appreciated!

Not so Bad

Bob Ruff, a member here, make a nice conversion for the byron fans.
there are threads on other conversions over on groups that use dynamax, jetfan, or other tractor type fans,

I have adapters coming for the Byron fan to convert to electric.
