RE: need help finding power system

Interesting looking project you have there. How does the control system work - elevons? Calculating CG and CP must have been interesting! Would this be classed as a triplane flying wing or biplane canard?

I think you'd have much better luck finding an answer in the Electric Jets forum, here: Electric Jets Forum

You may also want to check in the Electric - RC Jets section at rcgroup.com. Lots of electric DF action there.

Let us know how it works out!

Status: online definatly not a triplane! this is a IWA internal winged aircraft. the cg was determined after vigerous testing, we have 3 others that fly but they dont have a airfoiled wing, they are just cupped on the bottom, in that configuration they fly extreemly well but have a tendency of weathervaining in the wind. We have flown one in 30mph winds and it was sweet! total flying weight is 8oz right now, but the one I showed you has airfoiled wings! it weighs just a little more but the drag should be decreased dermaticly. anyhow thanks for the info! by the way yes it is elevon setup, and the CP migrates as speede increases! as for the canard I need to extend the nose of the plane just a little more so that if I did put a canard on it it would'nt couple with the wing. Thanks Chris
