BEST EDF/ BRUSHLESS??

Gentlemen, can anyone recommend what fan unit/ brushless motor I would need to power a 16oz plane? It will be on an experimental Foamy. I am not too familiar with ducted fans..
I would like to keep it as low, $ wise as possible..

is there a size limit on the fan? do you want to go Lipo?

Dave, I guess a fan somewhere in the vicinity of three inches would probably be what i need.
and yes, i plan on using a 3-cell LIPO, but not sure of the MAH i should use. Can you suggest a FAN size and brand of lipo? Flight duration is not a factor, a few minutes of air time would be fine, i am looking for mostly speed.. It is powered now with a brushless outrunner, that i wound myself. flys okay but not enough speed. Thanks, Paul
