I got the bug....
 

for an electric jet. I saw the Kyosho Illusion and think that might be the one, but that thing is TINY! It's wingspan is less than the span of one half of my Edge's empenage. I've been flying a hotted up Stryker for a while now, and have to wonder how small that thing will get in how big a hurry. I can set the Illusion up with equipment I have already, batteries, ESC, servos etc. IF I move up to a larger jet costs go up quickly, but 30"+ wingspan sounds a little easier to see. I'd rather stick with something that can be handlaunched, which is another plus to the Illusion. No airliners, I'd like something that can do some aerobatics and that can be landed on grass. Any and all opinions welcomed.....

WEll, I mentioned the Illusion to my LHS owner and now he's going to order one. So watch this space for a build thread to commence shortly...
