Thrust figures

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have thrust figures for this fan?

I find the quoted #'s a little optimistic.

RE: Thrust figures

Hey Hanzi,
Did you read the comments / reveiws after reading the specs.? There are a few thrust figures / set ups. I also have this fan, yet unused. I also have this one, that I'm using in a scratch build. https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=4500 For both of them I bought these motors. https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=4480 I'd be interested in your responses. This will be my first EDF.
What are you using it in?
Good Luck
Al

RE: Thrust figures

i've got a couple of the fans installed in a sapac f-22...they're quality made, sound great and produce a ton of thrust but at the cost of high amps...here are some pixs of the impeller compared with a couple of others...

RE: Thrust figures

Thanks for the comments guys.

I am thinking about building my first EDF and I am looking for the best cost/wieght/thrust fan in about this size. The figures quoted on the site do seem good, but it's not always possible to know who is giving the figues on a manufactures site. At the price it might just be worth getting one, and suck it and see.
