I love this plane so much, I built one for a Mega 16/15/3 Wemotec MF480 Mini Fan,with 12 FAUP 1950's.
23" wingspan,just applied decals today.
Test flights soon!

Hi Chris,it is built from my own drawings.
I built one before for prop. pusher electric to see if it would work, before going along the EDF route.
Flew very well, and gave me the encouragement I needed to design an EDF version.

The model is about a week away from test flying.
All being well,it will be made into a comprehensive wood kit.

I think this is possibly the first EDF version ever!

Flying weight all up, just 2.5 lbs.

Here's an underside view. The rear of the fuse is removable for fan access. The battiries and ESC are under the belly, and the receiver and reciever battery is up in the nose under the canopy.

Since applying the decals it has had a coat of clear laquer to seal,so is less shiny now!

I'm also doing tests with a scale shock cone, it looks very encouraging so far.

I hope it is fast in the air.We are going to video it,and post it somewhere to download.

Thanks!
Matt.
