I am gratified that your problems are resolved.

I am in the finishing stages of completing my B.H. f-86 50mm. .... need to change out the horn/puchrod clamps.... the stock ones do not seem robust enough for me.

It is known to the experienced fliers and old-timers that scale planes do not fly as well as made-for-RC models. It is physics.... the air molecules in the atmosphere do not get miniaturized like our small planes get miniaturized. Too many fellows think that any type of RC craft should fly well..... heck the actual full scale planes of exotic design need computers to help the pilot fly!

Hi Bob,
Glad you hear all your issues came together.  I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for the set-up my my blackbird.  Firstly, my instructions did not have throw settings.  Would you recommend any high/low settings?  The instructions called for 78mm CG but my plane with a battery provided by Easy Tiger balances at 68mm which is nose heavy.  What was your CG and would recommend going nose heavey?

Hello,

I would recommend a lot of expo in the radio, and lower rates,it does take much to turnher round. On higher rates I get out of controll and starting rolling sometimes... The CG they gave is pretty close, 10mm is a lot in a little plane but I think you will ok with it..

I know this thread is OLD..but how about a follow up..3 years later - How did this jet hold up over time?
