A nice little trainer for all of you
This is my trainer, the Alphabet: http://www.aefa.asn.au/speedfour.html
just go to the bottom of the text and you will find a link to the Alphabet. it's discribed as a glider, but it's a crusing plane at heart, but it glides very well. use a 400 gear by a Mini Olympus 2:33, with a skyline 22 controler and an 8 cell pack of AA800mah Ni-Cd. about 10 min duration of flat chat. i have mine with a built up wing, but the foam wing will do, although that cost me my first Alphabet, as i pulled out of a dive, a massive wing fold, and down into a blackberry bush. also it should be noted: she's no slowflyer at about 30mph. I DID NOT design it, that credit goes to Daniel Tracy, a member of my club. I hope it brings many more pilot to our hobby. I am aware of about 5 of them in existance, so the more the merrier!

RE: A nice little trainer for all of you
From what i've heard, it was developed from a low-wing sports model, that met with the ground , nose first quite alot. my first plane was in fact the first of it's kind, and it now sits broken in my dining room. my instructor said that it was the worst damage from a low speed crash he's ever seen
